# Morpho Boosted Markets

#### 📌 Overview

In a standard Compound-style market, `cash` (liquidity available for borrowing) sits idle in the pToken contract, earning 0%. In a **Morpho Boosted Market**, this idle cash is deposited into a Morpho Vault.

* **Liquidity Buffer**: The contract maintains a configurable "buffer" (e.g., 10%) of cash locally to ensure cheap gas costs for small withdrawals.
* **On-Demand Liquidity**: If a user withdraws more than the local buffer, the contract automatically pulls funds from Morpho in the same transaction.
* **Rewards**: External rewards (like MORPHO tokens) can be harvested and distributed to suppliers.

#### 🏗️ Architecture

* **Delegate**: `MorphoBoostedDelegate.sol` (The logic implementation).
* **Proxy**: `PErc20Delegator.sol` (The storage contract users interact with).
* **Vault**: A Morpho-compliant ERC-4626 vault.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://peridot-finance.gitbook.io/peridot-protocol/technical-architecture/evm/boosted-markets/morpho-boosted-markets.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
